collaboration that began in 1998 between <strong>Emory University<\/strong> and His Holiness the <strong>Dalai Lama<\/strong>. It consists of curriculum experts, teachers, and experts in the field of education, <strong>developmental psychology<\/strong> and <strong>neuroscience<\/strong> and explores innovative topics such as the impact of <strong>attention training<\/strong> (mindfulness), cultivating <strong>compassion<\/strong> for themselves and others, <strong>resilience<\/strong> In trauma processing and ethical discernment.<br>The full curriculum consists of 30 40-minute 'learning experiences' divided into eight chapters. They cover both the <strong>personal<\/strong>, the <strong>social<\/strong> and the <strong>system domain<\/strong>. The curriculum takes into account feedback from teachers in the US, Europe and India who have tested it in their classrooms since 2017.
