Helmstedt<\/strong>\u00a0(40 km), donde llegu\u00e9 poco despu\u00e9s del mediod\u00eda.<\/p><\/div><div><p>Hac\u00eda calor. Ten\u00eda la opci\u00f3n de ba\u00f1arme en una piscina al aire libre junto al camping o 7 km m\u00e1s lejos, hasta el antiguo paso fronterizo con la RDA en\u00a0<strong>Marienborn<\/strong>\u00a0para llevar.<\/p><\/div><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yo soy ese <strong>infame paso fronterizo<\/strong> con controles estrictos nunca la pas\u00e9 yo mismo, pero o\u00ed historias castigadoras sobre ella de familiares. As\u00ed que hice acopio de todas mis ganas y valor y volv\u00ed a subirme a la moto. Era el principal puesto de control de la frontera interior de Alemania. En <strong>1996, siete a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s de la ca\u00edda del muro<\/strong> cuando ya presentaba un aspecto ferozmente vandalizado y ruinoso, se reform\u00f3 y <strong>inaugurado como monumento conmemorativo.<\/strong><\/p><\/div><div><p>Un poco de historia: justo despu\u00e9s de la guerra de <strong>1945<\/strong> estaba bajo el control de los aliados victoriosos, pero en <strong>1950, la RDA tom\u00f3 el control<\/strong> y llev\u00f3 a cabo la <strong>r\u00e9gimen fronterizo mortal<\/strong> con alambre de espino y minas para hacer imposible la huida de la RDA y alejar las influencias hostiles de Occidente.<\/p><div><p>En <strong>1972<\/strong> se convirti\u00f3 en <strong>acuerdo de tr\u00e1nsito<\/strong> se cerr\u00f3 con Occidente y aument\u00f3 el tr\u00e1fico tur\u00edstico. El recinto se ampli\u00f3 ferozmente. Un total de 1.000 personas trabajaban en el control fronterizo, las aduanas y la administraci\u00f3n para atender las largas colas de espera. Tambi\u00e9n hab\u00eda una oficina de cambio donde los viajeros deb\u00edan canjear una cantidad obligatoria por d\u00eda de estancia.<\/p><\/div><div><p>Para <strong>coches y camiones hab\u00eda zonas de control separadas<\/strong>.<\/p><\/div><div><p>A la entrada, los turistas ten\u00edan que entregar sus documentos y \u00e9stos eran enviados en una cinta transportadora a las oficinas de control, que ten\u00edan extensas papeleras de fichas con los datos de los indeseables. Luego tocaba esperar y cuando usted o su <strong>veh\u00edculo sospechoso<\/strong> parec\u00eda (afortunadamente una minor\u00eda), era <strong>sacado todo, incluidos los asientos y el forro.<\/strong><\/p><\/div><div><p>Tambi\u00e9n hab\u00eda un espacio para <strong>controles veterinarios<\/strong> y puestos de cuarentena.<\/p><\/div><div><p><strong>Los controles de salida fueron igual de estrictos<\/strong>. Los camiones tuvieron que pasar por debajo de un puente colgante desde donde se comprob\u00f3 que la lona del cami\u00f3n no estaba da\u00f1ada. <strong>Despu\u00e9s de todo, muchos alemanes del Este intentaron esconderse en camiones<\/strong> o cajas de turismos. Tambi\u00e9n hab\u00eda <strong>barreras enrollables resistentes<\/strong> que pod\u00edan cerrarse inmediatamente en caso de alarma e incluso impedir que camiones de 50 toneladas salieran disparados a toda velocidad.<\/p><\/div><div><p>En <strong>antiguas oficinas<\/strong> del complejo albergan ahora un <strong>museo<\/strong>.<\/p><\/div><div><p>Justo enfrente de la autopista hab\u00eda otro <strong>Torre de control rusa.<\/strong><\/p><\/div><div><p>Las fotos dan una idea de lo estrictos que eran los controles. No era divertido ir a Berl\u00edn en aquella \u00e9poca, y menos a\u00fan para los alemanes orientales que quer\u00edan ir a Occidente. Muchos <strong>pagaron por ello con la vida o con la c\u00e1rcel.<\/strong><\/p><\/div><div><p>La frontera se reabri\u00f3 el 9 de noviembre de 1989, pero s\u00f3lo el <strong>30 de junio de 1990<\/strong> son los <strong>controles detenidos en Marienborn<\/strong> y los alemanes del Este recuperaron su libertad, que ahora vuelven a poner en riesgo votando a partidos de extrema derecha como AfD (Alternative f\u00fcr Deutschland) o peores.<\/p><div><p>Y no olvidemos que los tibetanos, uigures y otras minor\u00edas de China sufren actualmente una opresi\u00f3n igual de brutal por parte de los chinos.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
