Thursday 25 Aug: Camping La Patte d'Oie - 45500 Saint-Brisson-sur-Loire
On Thursday night, I spent the night at Camping La Patte d'Oie, a campsite exclusively for two-wheelers and hikers!
The facilities are extremely good: a small kitchen with microwave, a fridge stocked with soft drinks, beer and wine, a comfortable sitting and dining area, books and games, very good sanitary installation and an outdoor fireplace and bbq area. There is also a loft with two beds at 12€ per bed.
Camping in your own tent costs 8€. All prices will be posted and campers are expected to deposit the money for their stay/drinks in a green letterbox.
This campsite is Aline's dream and life's work. She came to greet the campers in the evening. She promised to hang my #cyclingfortibet flyer in the seating area.
