The tour around Belgium 2020/21 clocked off at 1,257 kilometres and 11,097 altimeters. Overall proceeds for Street Nurses ASBL so far: almost 7,600€.
Eva left on 10 July 2020 in Antwerp in counterclockwise: to the coast, then along the French border and through the Ardennes as far as Bastogne, good for 760 km. There, she interrupted her tour on 1 September due to a serious illness in her circle of acquaintances. Proceeds: €5,600. This amount will be used to medical equipment to purchase for the backpacks of street nurses.
Retrieved from 3 June 2021 Eve left Antwerp again for the remaining part, but this time in clockwise: Kempen, Limburg, Voerstreek, provinces of Liège and Luxembourg again up to Bastogne. Good for 501 km and so far a yield of almost 2,000€. And donations are still pouring in.
The 2021 proceeds will go to the 'My Way' project, a new initiative by Street nurses asbl to prevent recently re-housed homeless people from falling back into old habits and ending up on the streets again. A project to help them return to a dignified existence.
