1-7 May: From Antwerp to Amsterdam, through the 'Green Heart' of the Netherlands, with vast fields and untold numbers of canals and ponds. With fine visits to Tibetan sites or events in Utrecht, Delft and Leiden along the way.

Lots of cool encounters, visit to lobster creche, two bike bumps in one day on miserable British cycle paths; a leaden and blood-hot round trip 'for nothing' through the North York Moors and festive neighbourly reception committee in Antwerp.
