Project 2025: Compassion Rising Tour for Ukraine!

In honour of the Dalai Lama's 90th birthday!

On 6 July the Dalai Lama's birthday. Ninety years filled with compassion, kindness and resilience! The global Tibetan community celebrates its birthday not just on July 6, but all year round.

Our partner organisation International Campaign for Tibet (ICT) earlier this year launched the 'Compassion Rising World Tour 2025'. She invites everyone to honour their spiritual leader by flooding the world with acts of kindness.

Reach Out is happy to join this initiative and decided to support a project close to the Dalai Lama's heart: The 'SEE Learning' programme, which stands for Social, Emotional and Ethical Learning.

It is a learning method for young people aged 3 to 19 which is based on the universal humanist values of the Dalai Lama and was scientifically developed since 1998 by Emory University in the United States. It teaches young people to cultivate compassion and non-violence, build resilience and process trauma.

Launching SEE Learning

For Ukrainian youth!

At 2019 SEE Learning was officially launched and meanwhile the learning method was already rolled out in 170 countries , including Ukraine.

Given the terrible war situation in that country, Reach Out chose to support the Ukrainian arm of SEE Learning: Edcamp. They are teaching Ukrainian youth skills that are essential to dealing with the reality of war, not to be trapped by blind hatred and to feel preparing for the post-war era.

Support Ukrainian youth

With education that pays attention to their emotional resilience, empathy and ethical awareness.
