On our bank holidays, I attended a Tibetan picnic at on the occasion of the birthday of the Dalai Lama. An organisation of Ingo Kennerknecht, chairman of Tibet Initiative Deutschland / Regionalgruppe Münster, in collaboration with the local Tibetan community. It started punctually at three o'clock, but having lost track of time at the Museum of Contemporary, I arrived just too late to see the celebrating Tibetans giving their national anthem to hear him sing accompanied by some former musicians of the Münster Philharmonic Orchestra. That was a pity, I was really angry with myself that I had missed this.

Otherwise, it was became a pleasant afternoon, with Tibetan snacks, music and dance. I also learnt there that Tibetan women who wear aprons over their dresses are married. And the Tibetans appreciated my efforts to preserve their culture and were very generous. I received several donations for Shatsa.
Ingo was kind enough to give me the newspaper article send after that appeared about the birthday party, as well as a photo of me together with two Tibetan beauties.
